Kevin Holland makes the move to welterweight.
‘Trailblazer’ takes on Alex ‘Cowboy’ Oliveira at UFC 272. Both men look to rebound in Las Vegas, after being winless in each of their last three fights.
Round 1:
Fight begins. Holland attempts a low and high kick on Oliveira. Holland spams the leg kicks. Holland gets clipped and loses balance. He gets back up rapidly. The two. exchange on the feet. Holland loses balance and goes for a leg lock. Holland rocks Oliveira with punches, the hurt Oliveira returns fire.
Holland continues with the output, landing multiple leg kicks. Oliveira throws a leg kick of his own and in a scramble, he slams Holland to the ground. He gets the back of Holland and goes for a rear-naked choke but the round ends just in time.
Round 2:
Oliveira goes for more leg kicks but Holland finds an opening on the feet. Holland has a breakthrough in the striking department, knocking down the Brazilian with a right hand. ‘Trailblazer’ would blaze him on the ground with multiple punches. Fight is called off. What a win for the welterweight Kevin Holland.
