Emelianenko stepped into the cage one last time to face reigning Bellator heavyweight champion Ryan Bader in a rematch of their Bellator 214 bout where ‘Darth’ scored a 35-second knockout over the Russian MMA icon.

The slight success was short-lived.

Dustin Poirier shared his reaction to the news of Conor McGregor returning against Michael Chandler as coaches on The Ultimate Fighter before a fight. The Louisiana bruiser was last seen inside the cage opposite Chandler at UFC 281 three months ago. Chandler started off strong and appeared to get the better of Poirier early in the bout. This huge title fight will serve as the main event of UFC 284 in Perth, Australia. This is the first time that UFC has returned to Australia since before the pandemic began.

Undefeated flyweight Diana Avsaragova stepped into the cage as part of a packed Bellator 290 card on Saturday night. The Russian prospect looked to keep her ‘O’ intact against Colombian-born Alejandra Lara. Desperate for a win after dropping her last three fights inside the Bellator cage, Lara squared off with Avsaragova during the preliminary portion of the promotion’s event at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Cali.

Pereira burst onto the scene in the UFC back in November 2021 after a very successful kickboxing career. Lorenz Larkin’s swift victory in the final preliminary bout of Bellator 290 was a testament to his skills as a mixed martial artist. In his rematch with Mukhamed Berkhamov, Larkin wasted no time in securing another win, adding another impressive moment to his highlight reel in a mere two minutes.

Teddy Atlas thinks there are similarities between Jake Paul and Floyd Mayweather. Both of these men have been around the sport of MMA for years and have different but sometimes overlapping jobs in the sport. Rogan is a commentator for the UFC and does his MMA show on YouTube. He has a great relationship with fighters and when speaking with them seems to be enjoying more of a casual conversation. On the flip side, Helwani is a journalist and interviews fighters on his show. Now it seems that the two are butting heads.

Taylor Guardado only suffered one loss in her amateur mixed martial arts career and it came against women’s MMA pioneer Ronda Rousey. Speaking with Mike Owens in a MiddleEasy exclusive interview, the one-time PFL finalist was asked about her 2011 amateur showdown with the former UFC women’s bantamweight champion. Guardado revealed that like many of Rousey’s opponents, she found herself on the losing end via armbar.
