Leigh-Anne Pinnock has undergone some major milestones recently. Not long after giving birth to two beautiful baby twins, the singer celebrated her 30th birthday and at the end of last year, she and her Little Mix bandmates announced the pop group were taking a break from creating music. Sob.
Thankfully, Leigh-Anne continues to give us insights into her life via Instagram and, with it, some incredible beauty moments. But one that truly took our breath away was her recent glam for the NME Music Awards.
The Little Mix star braved an all-white ensemble styled by Justin Hamilton, with dewy makeup by Hila Karmand, which included thick fluffy brows, wispy lashes, and a nude lip. However, the one thing that we can’t keep our eyes off is Leigh-Anne’s intricate hairstyle.
Created by celebrity hairstylist and natural hair expert Dionne Smith, the two-part hairstyle involved twisted sections that meet at the back of her head.
Of course, we had to find out more about the look, so we asked Dionne how she created the look. “It was inspired by African threading," she told Cosmo UK. "All I did was bring it into 2022 with a modern twist.
“I basically put my own spin on it and wanted it to be a statement – which it has been.”
And Dionne is right, it most certainly has been a statement. Both Leigh-Anne and Dionne's social media posts have been flooded with comments from friends and fans, who, like us, can't get enough of this incredible hairstyle:
