When it comes to the NBA, being the best player on the court matters, but there's an element of the game that's almost just as important. And that's flash. Showmanship. The ability to amaze the crowd with some brilliant and exciting skills that only one player is capable of producing. The way he's playing right now, Ja Morant has a case of the most fun-to-watch player in the league.

Against the San Antonio Spurs, Morant was not just the best player on the court, but he also made some truly jaw-dropping plays. An incredible dunk, an unreal buzzer-beater and a three-pointer from near half-court all happened in the same 48 minutes. It also got AI to suggest that an MVP could be coming soon for Ja. This has understandably drawn a lot of eyeballs to what Morant is achieving this season, and now led to some high praise from NBA analyst Chris Broussard.

"Ja Morant is the most exciting player to enter the league since Vince & Kobe. Not the best, but the most electrifying."

Vince Carter and Kobe Bryant were both high-fliers in their early days. The two created some unreal highlights between them and a few of those plays are likely to stick long in the memory of NBA fans. To put Ja Morant in the same breath as those two is high praise, but there have been others since that are also similarly amazing who may feel a little slighted.

And while there is very little doubt that Ja is an incredibly exciting player, he may also be making a case to be the best in the league with the way he has been playing recently. Morant has scored 44 or more points in 3 of his last 4 games and his Memphis Grizzlies are within touching distance of the 2nd seed in the Western Conference. If he can combine his unreal ability to create highlights with consistently elite production, Ja may just take the title of being the best young player in the league.
