Mr. Steve Priest, age 66, of Page, Arizona, passed away on November 16, 2021.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gayla, his two children Shara and Shaun, grandchildren Jayden and Taylor, sister Tammy and brother Mike, and stepmother Konnie Jaques.

Steve is the middle child of three children born to Bennie and Dorothy Priest on July 30, 1955, in Hutchinson, Kansas.

In the early 1980s Steve and his dad Bennie worked for L.R. Foy Construction Company. The company was an integral part of rebuilding the boarding school on Navajo Mountain. Steve fell in love with the area and decided to move his family to Page. Steve’s lifelong dream was to have his own construction company, and in 1984 that dream was realized when he and Gayla started G&S Construction, providing Page with a general contractor specializing in residential and commercial projects. For 37 years, Steve built many homes and did numerous remodels in the Page area. Steve also loved hanging out with his family on Lake Powell. He had a great love for hunting on the Kaibab as well as hiking in the desert. Steve was a loving husband, father and grandfather, always devoted to his entire family and admired by many in the community of Page. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
