With all Montgomery County precincts reporting, incumbent Rep. Steve Toth won the Republican primary for Texas House District 15 in the March 1 election. Toth received 69.22% of votes cast, or 13,882 votes, and challenger Maris Blair received 6,172 votes.

Toth posted a video on his Facebook campaign page on election night with an update later in the evening stating that he won.

He will face Democratic candidate Kristin Johnson in the November election.

With 107 of 111 precincts reporting, incumbent Steve Toth maintained the lead in the Republican race for Texas House District 15 in the March 1 primary election. Toth has 69.31%, or 13,704 of votes cast. Challenger Maris Blair received 30.69%, or 6,067 of votes cast. The winner of the Republican primary will run against unopposed Democratic candidate Kristin Johnson in November.

Early voting results show incumbent Steve Toth taking an early lead against Maris Blair in the Republican race for the Texas House District 15 in the March 1 primary election. Early voting results include absentee votes.

As previously reported by Community Impact Newspaper, two Republican candidates and one Democratic candidate are running for the House District 15 position in the March primaries. The winners for each party will be on the ballot in the November general election. The candidate running in the Democratic primary, Kristin Johnson, is running unopposed.

In the Republican primary election, Steve Toth has the lead with 69.17%, or 8,107 of early votes. Maris Blair received 30.83%, or 3,614 of early votes.


Incumbent Steve Toth is a small-business owner. Challenger Maris Blair is an attorney with The Blair Law Firm and executive director of Conroe ISD Education Foundation, as previously reported by Community Impact Newspaper.
