Mary Alyce Jones

Mary Alyce Jones, 102, died Feb. 28, 2022 at Pretty Prairie.

She was born July 13, 1919, in Kingman County the daughter of Artie and Rosa Sallee Dean.

A lifetime resident of the Penalosa, Lerado and Pretty Prairie communities, she was the former owner of the H&R Block in Pratt and retired from Jim Hill Accounting.

Mary Alyce was a member of the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church; and was a former 4-H leader.

In 1939, she married Roy Jones; he died in 1999. Survivors include sons Jay and Max; daughters Rosalee Cooper and Constance Jones; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lerado Cemetery.
