The Wizards list Carey as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Pistons with a right hip contusion.

Carey hasn't been part of the Wizards' rotation after being acquired from the Hornets on Feb. 10, appearing in just one of Washington's six games since and playing one minute in total. The second-year center presumably picked up the injury while playing Monday for the G League's Capital City Go-Go, as he logged only six minutes in a 114-105 win over the Cleveland Charge. Even if Carey is cleared to suit up for the Wizards in advance of the 7 p.m. ET tipoff, he likely won't be used in a competitive game.
