GENESEE COUNTY, MI—Fire crews responded to a commercial structure fire at a fast food restaurant early Monday morning in Flint Township.
A fire was reported at 4:49 a.m. Monday, Feb. 28 at Long John Silver’s, located at 3470 S. Linden Rd., according to Flint Township Fire Chief Brett Beckley.
Smoke and flames were coming from the building when fire crews arrived at the scene, Beckley said at the scene.
The building is likely a total loss, officials said. No injuries were reported.
Shortly after the fire was reported, authorities shut down Linden Road between Miller and Bristol roads. The road has since reopened, according to dispatch.
The Flint Township Fire Department, as well as other area departments, responded to the call, including Grand Blanc Township Fire Department, Charter Township of Mundy Fire Department, Mt. Morris Township Fire Department, the Swartz Creek Area Fire Department and Flushing Fire Department.
