Wedgewood stopped 43 of 44 shots in Friday's 3-1 win over the Golden Knights.

This was an outright impressive showing from the 29-year-old, who notched a career high for saves in one game. Wedgewood was able to limit the damage to a William Carrier tally in the second period. Wedgewood's won three of his last four appearances, and he's now at 7-12-3 with a 3.02 GAA and a .908 save percentage in 24 appearances. Given his usage lately, it appears he's challenging Karel Vejmelka for the No. 1 job in net, though the Coyotes' goaltending situation is likely to be a tandem for the rest of the season.
