Holiday has been ruled out for Friday's contest against the Pelicans due to right ankle soreness, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Holiday had an encouraging performance Thursday with Chris Paul (thumb) and Cameron Payne (wrist) sidelined, but he apparently picked up an ankle injury as well. All three of the aforementioned point guards will be sidelined for the second half of the Suns' back-to-back Friday, so Elfrid Payton and Landry Shamet should see increased run against New Orleans.
