Oleksiak notched a shorthanded assist, three hits and two blocked shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Bruins.

Oleksiak entered Thursday on a 10-game point drought, a stretch in which he also missed nine contests due to a lower-body injury and an illness. He snapped the drought with the secondary assist on Mark Giordano's first-period marker, which was Oleksiak's second career shorthanded point. The Big Rig has 12 points, 59 shots on net, 115 hits, 46 blocked shots and 43 PIM in 44 contests overall. His offense tends to come in bunches, though it's tough to count on any Kraken skater to be consistently productive.
