When you're a royal, being wined and dined comes with the territory. So, when Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, made a trip out west, her cousin Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle gave them a warm welcome with a dinner in Santa Barbara, Calif.

Over the weekend, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex proved there was zero drama with cousin Eugenie and Brooksbank when they took the couple out for dinner. TMZ captured photos of the royal rendezvous, where the couples dined outside in a plastic enclosure. The dinner appeared to go well, as Meghan and Harry were spotted sharing a few laughs with their family members from across the pond.

For the double date, Meghan wore a chic white blazer which she paired with ivory trousers and a red clutch. Her brunette tresses were parted down the middle and styled in gentle waves. Prince Harry appeared to don a black T-shirt paired with a matching jacket.

Eugenie has been spending some quality time with her cousin in SoCal. The prince and princess were photographed attending Super Bowl LVI at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The two were seen sitting together in the stands, though their significant others did not appear to be at the game. Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank live in Frogmore Cottage in England along with their one-year-old son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, whom they welcomed in Feb. 2021.

While the couple seemingly enjoyed the time spent with Eugenie and Jack, Prince Harry won't be taking his children Archie and Lilibet over to England anytime soon. The duke "does not feel safe" bringing his kids overseas after their 24-hour security was dissolved following the couple's step back from their royal duties.

"This claim is about the fact that the claimant does not feel safe when he is in the U.K. given the security arrangements that were applied to him in June 2021 and will continue to be applied to him if he decides to come back," explained Harry's lawyer, Shaheed Fatima, per The Guardian.
