The historic Seaquist House in Mason Texas will be the location of the March 15th meeting for the Hill Country CattleWomen. The Seaquist House, located at 405 Broad Street, Mason, Texas, is a beautiful and unique 19th century home. It received a Texas state historical marker in 1974 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Hill Country Cattle-Women’s organization will meet on March 15th at 10 a.m. for the social hour. The business meeting will commence at 11:30 a.m., and lunch will be served at approximately 12 noon. The Mason County chair of HCCW, Helen Dockal, planned this exciting meeting, and Jan Appleby, the house docent, will conduct a tour for the pleasure of the guests. Lunch will be catered by Nachos Restaurant.

As usual, HCCW extends an open invitation to all women in their 15-county region to attend and hopefully join their organization. The Hill Country CattleWomen strive to serve their counties by promoting beef education, land rights and land stewardship. They raise monies for scholarships which are awarded exclusively to local college students. For additional scholarship information, go to their website at: <www.hillcountrycattlewomen.com>.

HCCW is a service organization in concert with the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raiser Association, American National CattleWomen Association, Texas CattleWomen and local beef supporters. In addition to their hard work, they are a group of women who enjoy themselves and their communal fellowship.
