Bruins Recall Jack Ahcan And Jesper Froden; Assign Jack Studnicka

BOSTON - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, February 23, that the team has recalled defenseman Jack Ahcan and forward Jesper Froden. Sweeney also announced that the team has assigned Jack Studnicka to Providence.

Ahcan, 24, leads all Providence defensemen in goals (6), assists (14) and points (20) in 34 AHL games this season. The 5-foot-8, 178-pound defenseman has skated in six career NHL games with Boston.
Froden, 27, has recorded 12 goals and 15 assists for 27 points in 37 AHL games with Providence this season. The 5-foot-10, 179-pound forward has skated in one career NHL game with Boston.
Studnicka, 22, has produced six goals and 13 assists for 19 points in 27 AHL games with Providence this season. The 6-foot-2, 196-pound forward has appeared in 32 career NHL games with Boston, recording one goal and five assists for six points.
