Khaira (back) underwent surgery Tuesday and is expected to miss 10-12 weeks, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago reports Wednesday.
Khaira is expected to remain out until May according to his initial timeline. The 27-year-old has averaged 13:36 of ice time and logged three goals over 27 games this season.
