Michael “Mike” Peuler, age 53, of Holland, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022, at Butterworth Hospital after a sudden heart attack.
Mike was a kind, quiet man with a big heart. He was a 1987 graduate of Holland Christian High School and worked for over 25 years in production at Gentex Corporation. He was a member of Central Park Reformed Church in Holland and will be remembered by his family and friends for his love of Disney and Star Trek.
Mike had a great bond with his family and friends, especially his mother, Ruth. He enjoyed his time with her in Florida and getting to go to Disney with her.
Mike was preceded in death by his Dad, Gerard Maat.
He is survived by his mother, Ruth Fischer; father, Jacob Peuler; his Mom, Adelle Maat; siblings: Chris Peuler, Allison Peuler, Tim Maat, Dan Maat; first cousins: Emily Jorgensen (and her son, Aaron Golden), Andrew Jorgensen; uncle, Eric Jorgensen; and Gentex Buddies: Gena Romeyn, Kyle Wright, and Nate Huisman.
A memorial service celebrating Mike’s life will be held on his Birthday, Friday, April 29, 2022, at Central Park Reformed Church, 614 Myrtle Avenue, Holland. The service will begin at 3:00 p.m. and a reception will follow for a time of fellowship.
