Here's What Alicia Keys And Swizz Beatz Are Selling Their New Jersey Estate For
Power couple and acclaimed hitmakers Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys are in the process of handing over the keys to their sprawling New Jersey mansion to new owners. While the buyers of the have not yet been disclosed, reports, according to the New York Post, suggested that they are in contract to sell the property below the $9.9 million asking price. The couple purchased the estate, famously known as Bubble Hill, from living legend Eddie Murphy in 2013 at a whopping $10.42 million. A year later, in a separate transaction, they snatched the empty lot adjacent to the house, which also belonged to Murphy, for $1.7 million.
The duo went on to build a $2 million art gallery on the empty lot to house their extensive art collection, only to put both properties as a bundle on the market for $14.9 million in 2015. Unfortunately, it was not enough to grab the attention of buyers — well, until 2021, when it was re-listed at the reduced price of $9.9 million. The listing is held by Christopher Boel of Christie's International Real Estate.
The Exterior
The deluxe mansion lies in an affluent gated community in Englewood, New Jersey. It is a colonial-style brick home built in the early 1980s, spanning over 40,000 square feet of living space. The single-family property nests in a quiet space among tall trees, manicured lawns, and beautiful landscapes.
