Emmerdale's Liv Flaherty star Isobel Steele believes Danny Miller's decision to leave the soap was "the right thing for him".
Miller, who recently became I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!'s King of Jungle, played Aaron Dingle for 11 years in total before leaving the village for a second time in late 2021.
Chatting to Digital Spy and other media, his colleague – who plays Aaron's half-sister on the show – revealed she's kept in touch with him and what she made of the whole thing.

"I have spoken to him. I do miss him a lot here," Steele said.
"At one point, him leaving would have been the scariest thing ever. He was the person I relied on solely, he was the person I filmed with the most and I was very much intertwined with him and our lives were as well.
"Over the past couple of years, I've started to branch out and film with other characters and he's not felt as integral to me. Honestly, I would have felt so stressed if he'd left two or three years ago. But I think it's the right thing for him."

The soap star went on to add: "I miss him but I think Brad [Johnson, who plays Vinny Dingle] has nicely taken his spot as the person that's there for me and my go-to and someone I enjoy filming with a lot.
"I miss him but that's the right thing for him – and stories have to move on and evolve to get better."
Just last month, Miller himself announced a new project with the launch of YouTube series We Are the Millers, which documents his shenanigans with fiancée Steph Jones, baby son Albert, plus their two dogs Gini and Kenny.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
