How does one follow up a show-stopping Super Bowl halftime show performance?
For Mary J. Blige, one of the ways is headlining this year’s Roots Picnic Festival.
She’ll be performing with festival headliners and curators The Roots during the two-day festival, which is at Philadelphia’s TD Mann Pavilion on June 4 and 5.
Other major acts set to perform include hip hop mainstay Rick Ross, R&B icon Jazmine Sullivan, up-and-coming rapper G Herbo, jazz virtuoso Kamasi Washington, Super Bowl National Anthem singer Mickey Guyton and more.
One-day and two-day General Admission passes are available on all major platforms including StubHub, Vivid Seats, Ticketmaster, SeatGeek and MegaSeats.
The Roots Picnic Festival also will host live tapings of podcasts such as “Questlove Supreme,” “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” and “Earn Your Leisure.”
This will be the first in-person Roots Picnic Festival since 2019.
Mary J. Blige also has been tapped to headline Miami’s Jazz in the Gardens Festival, which runs from March 12-13. The Roots, the Isley Brothers and H.E.R. will also perform.
