Alejandra Lopez, 90, of Fort Stockton, Texas, died Feb. 3, 2022, at the local hospital. She was born Aug. 26, 1931, in Sanderson, Texas, to Antonia and Magdaleno Rios. The family moved to Fort Stockton in the mid-1940s. She was marred to Ramiro Lopez in Sanderson, Texas.

Alejandra worked for Home Health as a home caretaker, as well as other families in the Fort Stockton community.

Mrs. Lopez was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ramiro Lopez, and daughter Rosa Leyva.

Survivors are her children Jesse R. Lopez and wife Tammie of Fort Stockton, Lisa Baiza of Dumas, Texas, and Gilbert Lopez of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren Javier Leyva, Jesse G. Lopez, Zoe Lopez, Imelda Roman, and several more grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters.

No funeral services are planned at this time. Funeral arrangements are with Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend.
