Brodin is a well-rounded defenseman. He's contributed three goals, 16 assists and 66 blocked shots through 36 games, which serves as a nice complement to his plus-8 rating. Minnesota clearly values the Swede considering he's on the books through the 2027-28 campaign and cashing in $6 million AAV.
