James Richard “Jimmy” Maxwell, 61, of Russellville, passed away Friday, Feb. 11, 2022 at Logan Memorial Hospital. He was a Logan County native, born Nov. 14, 1960 to the late Charles Edwin Maxwell and Clara Nell Taylor Maxwell. He worked as an account manager for the trucking industry and was a member of First Christian Church.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Maxwell.
He is survived by his sister, Missy Maxwell Perry of Russellville; his brothers, Charlie Maxwell of South Carolina and Pat Maxwell and wife Laurie of Florida; and seven nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service for James Richard “Jimmy” Maxwell will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Summers and Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday from noon and lasting until the time of the service hour.
