Hunt set up Filip Chytil for the tying goal in the third period with a pass at the offensive blue line that just kept the goal-scorer onside. The winger had a chance to end the game in the eighth round of the shootout but was denied by Jeremy Swayman, setting the stage for K'Andre Miller to score the shootout winner for the Rangers in the following round.
