NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — Crews are working to clean up the mess left behind off I-95 after troopers say a UPS semi truck overturned Tuesday morning in Yulee.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened shortly after 6:30 a.m. near State Road 200 in Nassau County.

According to a crash report, the semi’s driver — a 48-year-old Jacksonville man — was traveling northbound on I-95 when troopers said he “failed to maintain his lane” and traveled off the road.

The semi then overturned on its side, partially on top of a guardrail in the median.

The driver was not hurt in the crash.

Just before 1 p.m. FHP said the left and center lanes are blocked northbound and one southbound lane is blocked.

Drivers are asked to use an alternate route or proceed with caution in the area.
