The highly anticipated Thirty-Nine Episode 1 is set to be released on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2022, at 3 p.m. GMT or 10:30 p.m. KST. Reports have it that Episode 2 of the forthcoming K-drama series would be aired on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022.

Viewers based in South Korea would be able to watch Thirty-Nine Episode 1 on JTBC. International watchers, on the other hand, could witness the comeback of Son Ye Jin to the small screens through Netflix, where English subtitles are also available.
Thirty-Nine Episode 1 is going to be the first of the reported 12 total episodes of the said series. It remains to be seen, however, if JTBC would decide to extend the show and offer more episodes in the future.

Meanwhile, Thirty-Nine Episode 1 is expected to introduce its main characters: Cha Mi Jo (Son Ye Jin), Jung Chan Young (Jeon Mi Do), and Jang Joo Hee (Kim Ju Hyun). For starters, the imminent series focuses on three female friends aged 39.
Cha Mi Jo (Son Ye Jin) was born and raised by her well-off parents. At the moment, she is 39 years old and works as a dermatologist at her own clinic in Gangnam District in Seoul City, South Korea.

The character of Son Ye Jin in Thirty-Nine has two close pals named Jung Cha Young (Jeon Mi Do) and Jang Joo Hee (Kim Ji Hyun). Cha Young is an acting coach while Joo Hee is a cosmetics manager at a department store.
Thirty-Nine Episode 1 is also likely to explore details of Cha Mi Jo, Jung Cha Young, and Jang Joo Hee’s friendship. Of course, their love interests are also predicted to be introduced in the series premiere episode.

Interestingly, Thirty-Nine Episode 1 did not have an official trailer. However, Netflix previously released an official teaser video for the K-drama series that featured the three main characters.
One scene from the trailer showed Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Ji Hyun having fun together. However, one scene also featured Cha Mi Jo apparently facing a huge problem as she was spotted with teary eyes.
