Oscar Tshiebwe averaged 22.5 points, 16.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks in Kentucky’s wins vs. South Carolina and Florida last week, earning him SEC Co-Player of the Week honors with Auburn’s Walker Kessler.

In addition to SEC Player of the Week, the junior forward was also named National Player of the Week by Andy Katz of the March Madness 365 Podcast.

Tshiebwe is averaging 16.4 points and 15.3 rebounds per game for No. 4 Kentucky. He totaled 27 points and 19 rebounds in Kentucky’s most recent win vs. Florida, his 19th double-double of the season which ranks second in college basketball.

Tshiebwe’s 19 rebounds extended his double-figure rebounding streak to twelve games, tying Dan Issel (1969-70) for the longest streak in program history.

Up next for Tshiebwe and the Wildcats is a road matchup vs. No. 16 Tennessee Tuesday night at Thompson-Boling Arena. Tip-off is set for 9 p.m. ET. on ESPN.
