Fernando (not injury related) didn't practice with the Rockets on Sunday, but he's expected to join the team in Utah ahead of Monday's game against the Jazz, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Along with Fernando, the Rockets acquired Dennis Schroder and Enes Freedom on Thursday from the Celtics in exchange for Daniel Theis. Freedom was subsequently released, but none of the three other players involved in the deal have been cleared to debut for their new teams, as at least one has yet to pass a physical. Theis will sit out the Celtics' game Sunday versus the Hawks, but Fernando and Schroder could have a chance to play Monday in Utah if the clerical work involved with the trade is completed.
