The 29-year-old Saad has done well in a middle-six role since the start of January, racking up three goals and eight assists in 14 games. For the season, the veteran winger has 26 points, 92 shots on net and a plus-2 rating in 42 appearances -- he was limited to 24 points in 44 outings with the Avalanche last season.
