Hernangomez (COVID-19 protocols) exited protocols and practiced Friday, Jim Eichenhofer of the Pelicans' official site reports. He will be available Saturday against the Spurs.
Hernangomez will be in contention with Jaxson Hayes for backup center minutes, though Hayes has seen some time at power forward lately. This season, Hernangomez is averaging 9.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 16.7 minutes.
