Dr. Robert Ballard, the man who led the expedition that discovered the wreckage of the Titanic in 1985, is on Monday’s Smart Talk.

Titanic may be what Ballard is most famous for but there have been many other accomplishments for the oceanographer along the way – discovery of John F. Kennedy’s PT 109, the German battleship Bismarck and several ancient ships in Black Sea.

But at age 79, Dr. Ballard says there’s more to explore and discover.

Ballard discusses Titanic and his other adventures, including a new “Lewis and Clark Expedition” on Monday’s Smart Talk.

Dr. Robert Ballard speaks as part of Elizabethtown College’s 2021-22 Lecture Series Wednesday night, February 16 at 7:30 in the Leffler Chapel and Performance on the College’s campus.
