Latest Update On Health Status of Konnan, Still Awaiting Clearance For Kidney Donor

As noted last week, Konnan is still in need of a kidney transplant and his situation is said to be serious. However two possible donors were found at the time. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Konnan is waiting for clearance from one donor to get the kidney he needs.

The potential donor lives in Mexico and is a US citizen. They will have to get tested to see if the kidney would be compatible. The second wasn’t able to be used due to being overweight, but is working to drop the weight in order to be a suitable donor. So it’s just a matter of waiting to see how things go in both cases.

Konnan is hoping to be well enough to travel to the next AAA tapings.
