Fefe Dobson is our everything — and she's back with a brand new single. Even more exciting, her musical comeback arrives with a very similar Y2K look to that of her 2003 debut album, Fefe Dobson's cover. Excuse us and our nostalgia, please… it might take us a minute to get over this (if we ever do).

Our favorite early-2000s Canadian pop-rock singer-songwriter posted what appears to be the album cover of her next single, "FCKN IN LOVE" on February 11. Just like her debut cover, she's once again posing in front of a blue background with her name in all caps (as it should be).

A constant trendsetter of the era, Dobson's hair was short and curly on the first album cover, whereas now, it's styled as a straight mullet, and she's proving that she can keep up with the times faster than we can. The most important part, however, is her makeup — she rocked a frosty blue smoky with a glossy lip on her first album cover. Now, she's wearing a vivid, vinyl blue eye shadow covering her entire lids, hopefully foreshadowing the power of her single to come, while her lip look remains more or less the same.

Her fit? She's in a leather jacket with a gray T-shirt underneath, jeans, and a few layered necklaces, whereas her debut album features a staple early-2000s look: a white cami with red bra straps showing, low-rise jeans with a belt chain, and chunky silver jewelry.

"New single FCKN IN LOVE out 2.25.22," she wrote as the caption. It seems more than a few are psyched about her return, as the comments section is filled with clapping emojis and quite a few "YASS"es. Some even wrote that "the real punk queen is here."

One thing is for sure: Dobson can't stop being a timeless style icon. If you need us, we'll be sitting pretty, waiting patiently on Dobson's new single for the next two weeks.
