Dog Valentine

Event guests will be given a time slot upon signing up in the brewery and the choice of a $10 suggested donation for an edited digital file, and an additional $5 suggested donation for every physical print requested.

Ginger’s Revenge, Asheville’s first and only brewery focused on the production of alcoholic ginger beer, will host a Valentine’s Day event in its tasting room, Feb. 12-13 — Saturday, 2-6 p.m.; Sunday until 7 p.m.

The two-day charity photo opportunity will kick off on Saturday and give patrons the chance to have their photo taken by Lindsey Koehler Photo with their beloved pets. All donations will be given to the Asheville Humane Society.

Guests at the event will be given a time slot upon signing up in the brewery and the choice of a $10 suggested donation for an edited digital file, and an additional $5 suggested donation for every physical print requested.

A representative from Asheville Humane Society will be in the tasting room both days to talk about adoption, AHS needs, volunteer opportunities and more.

Ginger’s Revenge is also accepting donations of goods for the animal shelter. Members of the community can bring donations into the brewery until Feb. 28, or buy from an Amazon wishlist to ship directly to.

Patrons on Sunday also will have the opportunity to shop a pop-up from Adventure Hounds, an Asheville based, women-owned dog bakery specializing in small batch organic dog treats and products.

Food trucks will be on site both days.
