Garret Dillahunt and Kim Dickens reminisce Deadwood days

Fear the Walking Dead alums Garret Dillahunt and Kim Dickens shared a flashback photo of the pair attending the SAG Awards in 2007. Deadwood, the series they both starred in, was nominated for Ensemble in a Drama Series that year.

Dillahunt stated that Dickens first shared the photo with him, which he went on to post on social media. He complimented her kindness for inviting him as her plus one for the event and stated this is the kind of person she is. Dillahunt was no longer on the series by this time, but Dickens still extended the kindness. He went on to say that he is looking forward to the “splash she’ll make with our old mates” on Fear TWD when she returns as Madison Clark in the back half of season seven.

Dickens replied to the post with heart-eyed emojis and “Babies.” Other TWDU alums also commented on the photo. Steven Ogg, who played Simon on TWD, stated, “Two Wonderful and talent humans right there.” Xander Berkely, who portrayed Gregory on TWD, said, “Love Kim. Worked with her a million years ago, when she was an embryo 🙂 Send her my best, please.” Dickens onscreen daughter Alycia Debnam-Carey responded with heart-eyed emojis.

The Walking Dead Universe Deadwood connections – Garret Dillahunt, Kim Dickens and more

Deadwood is a series that aired on HBO from 2004-2006, consisting of three seasons and 36 episodes. During that time, many actors from that series would play characters within The Walking Dead universe.

It is sad to think that Gillahunt’s John Dorie and Dickens’ Madison Clark will never meet on Fear the Walking Dead.

The second half of season seven of Fear the Walking Dead will premiere on AMC on April 17, with the AMC+ airing beginning on Feb. 13. Be mindful if you watch early to avoid spoiling things for other viewers.
