Okpala (wrist) was traded from the Heat to the Thunder on Wednesday in exchange for a 2026 second-round pick.

Okpala hasn't taken the court since Dec. 28 due to a wrist injury, and it's not yet clear when he'll be able to return in spite of his day-to-day designation from the Heat. However, he'll presumably be unavailable for Oklahoma City's game against the Raptors on Wednesday. It's not yet clear whether the Thunder will keep Okpala, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports. If he remains with the organization, he should provide an additional option off the bench once healthy after he averaged 3.7 points and 2.0 rebounds in 11.6 minutes per game across 21 appearances to begin the season.
