Neighbor spots house door left open, Detroit police find two men shot to death

DETROIT (WWJ) – Detroit police are asking for the public’s help in solving a double murder on the city’s west side Tuesday night.

Authorities found two men dead inside a home on Tyler Street, near the Davison Freeway and 14th Street after a neighbor noticed the home’s door had been open for most of the night and called police.

Police have not released the identities of the victims, but have said one of them lived at the home.

Authorities have not released a possible motive for the murders.

Police are asking residents in the area to check their security cameras and Ring doorbells for any clues.

There is no information yet on a possible suspect or suspects.
