Matty Healy of The 1975 has called on brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher to reconcile their differences for an Oasis reunion. The two brothers of the world famous Britpop band have been locked in a feud for what seems like forever now, but most famously the band came to blows in 2009 and have been yet to reform since.

Electro-Harmonix has reissued a “1978 rarity”, the Slap Back Echo pedal, with modern upgrades and a smaller pico-sized chassis. The decision to re-issue the classic stompbox follows Josh Scott begging for the pedal to be brought back on The JHS Show, after giving it a glowing review: “Electro-Harmonix if you’re watching this, I beg you to just re-issue this, or let me do it”, he said back in 2021, and lo and behold, it’s here.

Whitesnake guitarist Bernie Marsden has reflected on the Jeff Beck he knew and admired during their longterm friendship. Beck sadly passed away last month on 10 January from meningitis, his sudden loss shook the world of music and a multitude of artists have since shared their admiration for Beck and their sorrow at his death.
