Louise Johnson
Louise Johnson, age 94, of Olivia, died Monday, February 7, 2022 at the Olivia Nursing Home in Olivia. Private family services will be held. Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery in Sauk Centre. Arrangements by Dirks-Blem Funeral Service, Olivia, MN.
Louise Mae Johnson was born February 7, 1928 at Alexandria, MN to Leland and Esther (Dixon) Whitman. She grew up and graduated from Alexandria High School. Louise worked as a telephone operator and got married to James Johnson of Sauk Centre in Reno, Nevada. They were blessed with four children. They traveled and were stationed at many different military bases across the world. She worked for over 20 years at the Minnesota Correctional Facility for Juveniles in Sauk Centre as a secretary. Louise enjoyed playing many games of Bingo over her years. Louise passed away on her 94th Birthday.
Louise is survived by her children: Mary (and Jeff) Erickson of Bird Island and Mike Johnson of Olivia; her six grandchildren: David Breudigam, Dean Breudigam, Jennifer Hansen-Dingeldein, Jessie (and Brian) Erickson, Matthew (and Adrienne) Erickson, and Stephanie (and Mike) Mueller; her 14 great grandchildren; her sons-in-law: Dennis Breudigam of Bay Village, Ohio and Brian Sumner of Alton, IL and her sister-in-law; Darlene Whitman of Alexandria. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James Johnson; her daughters: Linda Breudigam and Kathy Dingeldein and her brothers: Lee Whitman and Ray Whitman.
