ATLANTA — Domantas Sabonis, Justin Holiday and Jeremy Lamb made the trip to Atlanta for the Pacers' road game Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks, but they will not suit up for Indiana.

Roughly two hours after the Pacers wrapped up their shootaround at State Farm Arena, Sabonis, Holiday and Lamb and a 2027 second-round pick were traded to Sacramento in exchange for Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson, according to an NBA official with direct knowledge of the deal.

The official spoke to USA TODAY Sports on the condition of anonymity because the trade has not been finalized.

Domantas Sabonis dribbles up the court as the Pacers face the Bulls at the United Center in Chicago on Dec. 26, 2021.

This is Indiana's second trade this week, signifying that owner Herb Simon is ready to commit to a full rebuild.

The Pacers traded Caris LeVert to the Cavs on Sunday, hours before Cleveland hosted Indiana and won 98-85.
