Google Kelauni Cook or Black Tech Nation! You'll find a phenomenal story about a young woman, from Chicago, graduate of Howard University, transplanted to Pittsburgh and starting a black tech movement in the Steel City!

Kelauni saw a huge void that many of us ignored here. Didn't think it was that big of an issue. Why are these new companies building in our city but not giving black techs the opportunity to being included in the process? Why aren't our kids learning technology or coding? Why is this ok?

BY HERSELF, Kelauni Cook stepped up and stepped in and she's been off and running ever since. Black Tech Nation's main work consists of uplifting Black technologists, educating and supporting our members, creating employment and funding opportunities, providing access to the “right people” in the industry, producing digital events and workshops, and advocating for tech equity across our industry.

I know Kelauni personally and I've watched her grow into this fine young woman who is breaking glass ceilings around the world! I'm so proud of her and you will be too!
