Sanford helped out on Nick Holden's go-ahead goal in the second period. The 27-year-old Sanford has picked up a modest six points with 31 hits and eight PIM in 13 games since the start of January. The winger will continue to have fairly limited appeal in a middle-six role. He's up to 13 points, 58 shots on net, 86 hits, 32 PIM and a minus-11 rating in 41 contests overall.
