Actor Joe Pesci sold his long-time Jersey Shore home last week for $5 million.

The “Goodfellas,” “My Cousin Vinny” and “The Irishman” actor, 78, has owned the Lavallette, New Jersey, mansion since 1994, when he bought it for $850,000, according to records with PropertyShark.

“It’s 8,000 square feet and has eight bedrooms, eight bathrooms and is right on the water,” said listing agent Michael Puccio of RE/MAX Central.

Built in 1990, the custom-built residence is topped with a half-moon shaped atrium with a sitting area underneath. Oversized windows frame water views from most rooms in the home, and there are several terraces, plus a patio with a heated pool and spa that overlooks a deepwater dock on the bay.

Behind its aqua-colored door, the mansion boasts a foyer with a sweeping staircase and an open floor plan, currently furnished with not one, but two grand pianos, listing photos show.

A formal dining area is surrounded by windows and features a three-tiered gold chandelier that could be found in any number of clubs or casinos. There’s also an eat-in kitchen with a breakfast area.

The main bedroom suite has a private balcony and an office, and there’s an elevator, according to the listing.

Memorabilia from Mr. Pesci’s decades-long career is also on display throughout the house, including a media room covered in movie posters and with a “Lethal Weapon 3” pinball machine. There’s also a barber’s chair—Mr. Pesci’s mother was a barber and the actor had a brief stint in the field before becoming an entertainer—and a carousel horse on display.

The home first hit the market in October 2019 for $6.5 million, according to listing records.

Mr. Pesci, a native of New Jersey, won an Academy Award for his role as the gangster Tommy DeVito in “Goodfellas,” and was nominated for his work in “Raging Bull” (1980) and “The Irishman” (2019). He also has recorded three studio albums, the most recent, “Still Singing,” was released in 2019 and featured Adam Levine from Maroon 5.
