The Minnesota Aurora announced the signing of former Vanderbilt University and University Northern Texas soccer and football player Sarah Fuller.

Fuller will join the Aurora as the team's goalkeeper and is the first player to sign with the new team ahead of the inaugural season for the new USLW League.

Not only is Fuller known for her collegiate achievements on the soccer pitch, but she is also known for her breaking barriers as a kicker in the NCAA.

She was the first woman to play in the Power Five Conference serving as the kicker for Vanderbilt University during the 2020 season.

During her time with the Commodores, she became the first woman to score in the Power Five Conference and was named the SEC Co-Special Teams Player of the Week.

Nicole Lukic, the head coach for the Aurora, shared in the team's announcement that "Sarah is a fantastic player and an even better person."

"Having a leader like Sarah that has broken down barriers is a perfect fit for us," Lukic said.
