Erin Murphy Breaks 1M Dive School Record on Final Day of the Boston Winter Open

BOSTON – Erin Murphy made a splash for Northeastern on the final day of the Boston Winter Open, breaking the school record in the 1M Dive with a score of 312.45, which was also a personal record and qualified her for NCAA Zones.
 
Murphy also won the 3M Dive with a personal best score of 315.70, which also qualified for NCAA Zones.
  • Lauren O'Sullivan also got a personal record on both boards with a score of 308.00 in the 3M (first zone cut) and 268.40 in the 1M (second time getting a zone cut).
  • Lizzie Meschisen got a personal record on both boards with a score of 287.15 in the 3M, and 274.35 in the 1M. She also qualified to Zones for the first time on both boards.
  • Elly Morrison got her season-best on both boards with a score of 262.80 in the 3M, and 259.70 in the 1M.
  • Isabelle Chambers closed out a stellar day for the Northeastern divers with personal records on both boards with a score of 252.20 in the 3M, and 242.50 in the 1M.
  • Sofia Long finished fifth in the 100 Yard Butterfly (58.18) and Francesca Arciniegas finished seventh (58.28).
  • Coco Fraser finished third in the 400 Yard IM (4:44.28).
  • Mary Banick finished fourth in the 200 Yard Freestyle (1:55.10).
  • Devon Muldoon won the 100 Yard Backstroke (57.66).
  • Hannah Seward won the 200 Yard Backstroke with a time of 2:04.57.
  • Nikita Pelletier (52.66) and Grace Miller (52.68) went second and third in the 100 Yard Freestyle.
  • Stella Urness won the 200 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:23.25.
  • Bailey Smith won the 200 Yard Butterfly with a time of 2:02.28.
The Huskies will head to Christiansburg, Virginia for the CAA Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday, February 16th through Saturday, February 19th.
