Jeffrey Earnhardt, grandson of Dale Earnhardt and nephew of Dale Jr., will race at Nashville Superspeedway

Jeffrey Earnhardt, the grandson of seven-time NASCAR Cup Champion Dale Earnhardt and nephew of multiple NASCAR most popular driver winner Dale Jr., will race at Nashville Superspeedway on June 25.

Earnhardt will run in the NASCAR Xfinity Series Tennessee Lottery 250 at 2:30 p.m. at Nashville Superspeedway.  

Earnhardt, 32, will start the season with Sam Hunt Racing at Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 19 and end it at Bristol Motor Speedway on Sept. 16.

"Anytime you have any Earnhardts racing at your track it's a good thing as far as I'm concerned," said Nashville Superspeedway president Erik Moses. "So we're happy to see that happen."

Earnhardt, whose father is Kerry Earnhardt, has run 131 NASCAR Xfinity races over the last nine years. He made 16 starts in 2021 with his best finish being 20th at Charlotte Road Course. Kerry Earnhardt was a Busch Series driver who often raced at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.

Sam Hunt Racing announced in January that Earnhardt will drive the No. 26 Toyota GR Supra for the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2022.

The Tennessee Lottery 250 will take place during the NASCAR Cup Series weekend at Nashville Superspeedway. 

The NASCAR Cup Series Camping World Truck Series Rackley Roofing 200 will be run June 24 at 8 p.m. and the NASCAR Cup Series Ally 400 will be run June 26 at 4 p.m.
