Spice Girls’ very own Mel C just showed up as a guest judge on Drag Race: UK Versus the World and wasted no time coming for Victoria Beckham. The ~quip~ went down while Mel was critiquing Baga Chipz’s performance, saying, “Baga, I think you completely embody the humor of British drag and I love that. You are giving me lots of Spice Girl inspiration tonight. You lip-synced badly, but when you were performing, I was like, there’s a resemblance. Posh Spice! But you know what? Your vocals are much better!”

Obviously, viewers were simply unprepared for this and flocked to Twitter with comments like, “Mel C came for Victoria Beckham hard and they kept it in the edit? Omg” and “Mel c should be called shady spice lmao.” Oh, also, Mel C implied Geri can’t dance, lol.

Side note, Mel recently spoke about the possibility of the Spice Girls reuniting, saying on Lorraine (via the Daily Mail), “When we did the stadium shows in 2019, we were blown away by how much love there still is for the Spice Girls and how it did affect a huge amount of people, a young generation, so positively.” She also added, “Between you and I, I know Mrs. Beckham would love to do Glastonbury” and noted that “it’s been rumored a lot, but we do constantly talk about getting back onstage because the shows in 2019 were incredible. We’d love to do it again—once the world allows and we can do it safely.”
