Boldy was promoted from the taxi squad to the active roster Wednesday.
Boldy has been excellent in limited action with the Wild this season, racking up four goals and nine points while posting an impressive plus-8 rating through nine games. The 20-year-old rookie is expected to skate on Minnesota's second line and top power-play unit Wednesday versus Chicago. Boldy will likely remain with the big club full time following the All-Star break.
