Donskoi scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Bruins.

One of the league's most puzzling statistical oddities came to an end Tuesday, as Donskoi finally lit the lamp in the third period. The 29-year-old had come up empty on his first 52 shots of the year -- a prolonged struggle for a winger who had scored at least 14 times in each of the last four campaigns. He's up to 15 points, 55 shots on net and a minus-4 rating through 44 contests in 2021-22, but he's likely to remain in a bottom-six role unless he gets hot on offense.
