Kolesar got loose for a goal at 4:27 of the second period on a feed from Brett Howden. The 24-year-old Kolesar hadn't picked up a shorthanded point prior to Tuesday's tally. The Manitoba native is up to a career-high four goals, 16 points, 63 shots on net, 125 hits and 41 PIM through 46 appearances this season. He's emerged as a fixture in the Golden Knights' bottom six.
