Kuhlman (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Scott Malone of Root Sports NW reports.
Kuhlman departed Sunday's game after logging 2:22 of ice time and delivering two hits. The 26-year-old has averaged 7:51 of ice time and been held without a point over five games since being claimed by the Kraken on Jan. 17.
